About the Club!

Bernice Buddy Club is a referral based service that partners with local hospitals and other lung cancer recipients in treatment, chemotherapy and/or radiation and their caregivers. We provide them with a safe place to discuss their individual journey.

We will link them to community resources due to social determinants needs, assisting with essential items in the home,  and meal/gas/self care gift cards. BUFF has Hearts of Faith to help others to care for their "whole self" despite what cancer brings.  BUFF gives Gift Bags, Gift boxes, and AGAPE blessings.

  Gift bag items are for treatment appointments:

Journals, Pens, Word Search Puzzles

Adult Coloring books, Uno/playing cards

Sketch Pad, Travel size Hand sanitizer

Unscented Lotions/Scented, Chapstick/Vaseline,

Packs of Mints/Gum, Deodorant, Headscarf, Small packs of Kleenex, Sleep Mask, box of masks

Saltine crackers/unsalted Peanuts/assorted crackers

Tea Hot, Chocolate, Gatorade, Propel water, Fruit cups/applesauce, Assorted chips

Gift boxes are the household essentials.:

Body wash/bar soap, Disposable wipes
