The purpose for this club is to support others whose Mothers transitioned due to Lung Cancer. We want to be mindful of God’s love for our Mothers.
Although we are all moving through life without them physically, please know they remain in us. This club is to identify what that pain feels like. Please know each person is experiencing this differently although the relationship with loss is the same. WE are NOT here to JUDGE, but we are here to be reminded how faithful our Mothers were.
Our goal for this community is to create a safe space where mental health is a top priority and individuals can access the resources they need to achieve optimal well-being. We offer support during both your grieving and healing journey. We are here to be reminded of the goodness of God and the love our mothers gave. We will pray, fast, cry, laugh, ponder, FEEL,
accomplish and overcome TOGETHER in Jesus Name.
The “Ringing the Bell” for some can be a moment of completion for “just” the treatment. They recognize they made it through chemotherapy and/or radiation. The sickness, weakness, emotional roller coaster in the spirit, body, mind & for the family. Our family watched how exhausted Mama was and most days she would put on her best face, wearing the full armor of God.
BUFF would like to go alongside you. We will provide you with an outfit for this special occasion. We want to Celebrate each milestone with you.
This is a 7-week Worshop that gives you permission to feel what you are feeling while you are feeling it. Grief is a lifetime journey and there isn’t anyway around it but to PUSH THROUGH it. It’s like labor; you will find yourself in contractions (crying, numb, angry, depressed, unaware, and unsure etc.). You will need to bare down and PUSH. There will be times, when you will need to rest, pray, worship, read the word of God and love yourself in between contractions.
You will soon hear God say, “I need one BIG PUSH”. God will help you DELIVER Your Blessing
We promote whole self wellness and a healthy lifestyle balance. We ensure that caregivers are linked with primary care providers by being assessed, linked with a church home, counseling and exercising. We encourage both recipient and caregiver to engage in self care at least once a week to assist them with maintaining a balance in life during this journey through life.
To provide pet care during the times one is unable to do so.
We will have a mobile pet salon to come to the home.
Maya was a joy to Mama, truly the sunshine on rainy days.
Maya became apart of our family, bringing us joy and peace.
It was hard at times for Mama to care for Maya. Maya is grieving Mama also.
